The man leading Chelsea’s title run. Spanish International Diego Costa has wasted no time in making a name for himself since joining Chelsea this past Summer.

Leading Atletico Madrid to last season’s Champions League final and the La Liga title, Costa was the name on every manager’s tongue this past Summer. Opting to join Chelsea, Costa is tied for the Premier League lead in goals scored this season.

The only thing keeping Costa from being number one on this list is the team around him. It is obvious that Chelsea are the most dominant team in the Premier League. Without his surrounding cast, the question remains to how many goals Costa would have scored.

If Costa can continue his impressive form over the next year, Costa will be the number one player on this list.
