QPR are back in the Premier League, and they’ll welcome Steve Bruce and Hull City

QUEENS PARK RANGERS V HULL CITY

Harry Redknapp and Steve Bruce are two of the most likable managers you’ll ever come across and all of football, so perhaps it fitting that the two square off in the first league fixture of the campaign which see’s promoted QPR welcome European bound Hull City.

Redknapp has done quite well to bring Rangers back to the big show, while Bruce not only kept Hull City from the drop, their appearance in the FA Cup final but Arsenal’s continued participation in Champions League mean the Tigers get a taste of Europa League action this season; a wonderful achievement.

Rangers keep Loic Remy on the books (for now), while adding Rio Ferdinand, Steven Caulker, Jordan Mutch and Mauricio Isla; it’s been quite a summer for them.  Hull did well in their own right, bringing in Jake Livermore on a full deal, Robert Snodgrass and Thomas Ince – this could well end up rather entertaining indeed.
