Five tree-top level Premier League transfers

There’s no question about the level of excitement that surrounds the Premier League “silly season” these days.  With n influx of cash into the league that would make King Midas blush, the summer transfer window for Premier League clubs is one of the most highly anticipated times of the year.

Already this summer we’ve seen the likes of Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Ander Herrera and Alexis Sanchez swap Spanish sunshine for the money and spotlight that playing in England now provides.  Southampton have sold nearly 90million pound of playing assets, Arsenal have abandoned their tight pursestrings, and Liverpool are doing their best Tottenham impersonation in the aftermath of the departure of the world’s foremost Dracula enthusiast.

Premier League giants are still being linked to the likes of Mats Hummels, Arturo Vidal, Marco Reus, Sami Khedira, William Carvalho and many other high profile talent from around the globe; but let us not forget those transfer moves that have flown low under the radar, and could have far greater impact than those that grab all the headlines.
