In the discussion of the best central players in the world football currently, Arturo Vidal is very near the top of the list.  Currently plying his trade for Italian giants Juventus, he’s done all he can to win honors in the Serie A, making a move to a different more challenging league attractive.

Vidal is a bulldog, and apart from Kevin Strootman and Yaya Toure, he’s the best box-to-box midfielder in the world and even has a fantastic eye for goal.  Given the way LvG uses his preferred formation, and the nature of the Dutch tactical makeup, players that are able to transition well from offense to defense fit the bill.  The only downfall to Vidal is the asking price Juventus are sure to commit to.  With his value a shade under 40million, they could well ask for 50million – the good news? He’s completely worth it.
