Arsenal transfer news – Man City PULL OUT of Declan Rice race

Well, well, well. Arsenal weren’t lying when they said they wanted to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United.

Last night, they submitted a third bid which was much closer to West Ham’s valuation – According to The Athletic, this third bid included a £105m total package (£100m guaranteed with £5m add ons).

Well, this was enough to make Manchester City pull out of the race. For the time being, they are working on the structure with West Ham – according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Arsenal transfer news – Kai Havertz completes deal

This one isn’t much of a surprise, but Kai Havertz has completed all the stages and is now an Arsenal player. Exciting times for Arsenal fans, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, with a club announcement expected soon. Their first signing of the summer will be Champions League winner Kai Havertz.

Arsenal transfer news – Jurrien Timber close

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal have now entered “advanced talks” to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The versatile defender is thought to be excited by Mikel Arteta’s project and the way Arsenal play their football.

If things go to plan, then it could be a race between Rice and Timber as to who will be the second signing for Arsenal. Great movements from Edu and company!
