Chelsea transfer news – Potential swap deal involving Declan Rice
According to reports via The Boot Room, West Ham United are likely to ask for one of two Chelsea players if they allow Declan Rice to travel across London this summer. It’s thought that the Hammers would like to bring in Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Conor Gallagher in a deal which would see Rice go the other way. Rice is also of high interest to Arsenal.

Another player who Arsenal are interested in signing is Raphina. However, Chelsea have become the new favourites to sign him, according to news from The Top Flight.
It’s thought that Chelsea representatives will meet with the Barcelona attacker to discuss a way out of the financially unstable club. Given Chelsea’s huge financial status across Europe, it’s thought they’re now the favourites to sign Raphinha, although Boehly does want to lower the club’s wage expenditure.

According to the Mirror (via The Chelsea Chronicle), Chelsea are ready to enter the race to sign Pau Torres, a 26-year-old defender who has been of interest to Mauricio Pochettino stretching back to when he managed Spurs.
It’s thought that Aston Villa are also interested in signing Torres. However, with neither side looking likely to guarantee European football next season, it’s obvious that Chelsea have a stronger chance given their club stature and financial situation. Torres is soon to enter the final year on his contract, so he will likely be sold this summer.
