Top Transfer Talks: Tottenham Look at Everton Attacker to Reinforce Squad

Tottenham have identified Everton’s Richarlison as a potential summer transfer but will not pay over the amount they evaluate the player at; Richarlison made it clear once the EPL season concluded that he would like to leave the club.

A host of clubs have been inquiring about the Brazilian, following his verbal request to leave Goodison Park. Manchester United have been heavily linked with the player, as well as some clubs outside of the Premier League.

Tottenham see him as the ideal player to come in and strengthen a thin squad, a squad that might get even thinner as the summer wears on. Talks at the club have Steven Bergwijn in the exit plans and leaving a space that needs filling.

The Toffees want €60 million (£51 million) but Spurs are said to only want to pay no more than €59m (£50m) for him to join them, a club that can offer Champions League football, exactly what his heart desires.

Tottenham interested in signing Richarlison:

The north London club are not believed to have made an offer so far for the 25-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Brazil. Tottenham are also searching for more options in the fullback department with their interest in signing Middlesbrough’s Djed Spence. He is wanted but a host of top clubs in the Premier League but it is Spurs who are stepping up their pursuit of the right-back; they are said to be in advance talks with Spence.

Other than Spence, Tottenham are looking at multiple fullback options, with Antonio Conte looking to use his wing-back system to full effect next Premier League run.
