Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – £12.7m

Every single season, Mo Salah fails to disappoint as an FPL asset. For wildcarders, he should be one of the first names on your team sheets. In just 7 gameweeks, Salah has already accumulated 70 FPL points — which is 21 points more than any other player in the game.

Two of Salah’s double-digit hauls this season have come against Chelsea and Manchester City, which just proves that the Egyptian King is fixture proof. Therefore, despite Liverpool’s average fixtures over the next few weeks, I back Salah to continue scoring.

Salah’s ownership has continued to climb to well over 60%, so a big points haul can cause serious damage to your FPL rank if you go without. Salah is near-essential.
