Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) – £5.8m

At least one Chelsea defender should be a staple on all wildcards being played this week. It is arguable whether the Blues’ defence is as good as City’s, but one thing is for certain — Chelsea’s next 4 fixtures are amazing from an FPL perspective.

With Brentford, Norwich, Newcastle and Burnley in the next 4 games, it would not be a shock if Chelsea were to accumulate 4 more clean sheets. Besides Brentford, those teams mentioned are all currently in the relegation zone — indicating just how much they have struggled this season.

Furthermore, Rudiger can be compared to Dias of Manchester City. Both are the safest and nailed on starters for their respective clubs — despite both Pep and Tuchel being known to frequently rotate their players. This is why the duo makes such appealing FPL options.
