Ivan Toney (Brentford) – £6.4m

With just 1 goal to show for in his first 4 fixtures, Ivan Toney has been a bit of a let-down for FPL managers this season – only registering 12 FPL points in this time.

Brentford have scored just 1 goal in their last 3 games, indicating that they have been struggling to find the back of the net. In fact, they have been more impressive in defence than attack – only conceding 2 goals in their first 4 games.

With the forward slot being a precious one currently in FPL, there is little point in holding onto assets that are underperforming. With Wolves, Liverpool, West Ham, Chelsea and Leicester in their next 5 games, it will only get tougher for Brentford to score.

Keeping this in mind, it is probably the sensible play to remove Toney either this week or next – if possible. There is a range of budget forward options with much better fixtures, who will likely do better in this upcoming period.

Must Read. Ronaldo can bring back the Old Trafford fear factor. light

This includes Adam Armstrong (£6.0m), Allan Saint-Maximin (£6.5m), or even new Crystal Palace signing Odsonne Edouard (£6.5m) – who scored a brace off the bench against Tottenham this week!
