Player to Target: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has started this season just like last year having scored in all three of his opening games. He has also been confirmed to be on penalties now and that adds to his appeal even more than before.

Calvert Lewin has accumulated an xG of 3.13 in his first 3 games, the top for any player in the league this year.

Player to Avoid: James Tarkowski

Everyone associates Burnley with a rock-solid defense and a no-nonsense approach but since last year they have changed their style of play into a more attacking style of play.

Their xGC of 6.03 this year is almost 2.01 per game, which means the opposition get’s a chance to score around 2 goals per game against them! I would avoid Burnley’s defense for the foreseeable future – until they tighten it up at the back.
