Callum Wilson – Newcastle

The Magpies didn’t have their brightest season this year, they ended up in a very disappointing 12th place but their main signing this year played really well and saved them from a lower finish or even probable relegation.

Callum Wilson scored 12 goals and assisted 5. It was not his best scoring campaign but he was the top goalscorer for Newcastle even though he only played 26 games. He missed some games due to injury.

Also, he won Player of the Year for The Magpies in his first season at St James Park.

It wasn’t an easy season for Newcastle but I’m sure that with some new signings and a healthy Callum Wilson, The Magpies could be in the fight for the Top 10 next year.
