Lucas Torreira wants Arsenal to help him secure a move to Boca Juniors

The Uruguayan midfielder made his feelings clear and publicised exactly where he wants to land after the end of the current campaign.

Boca Juniors is the club being mentioned by Lucas, and he appears to be settled on a loan move or permanent deal – whichever comes first for the 25-year-old.

"Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has reiterated his desire to leave the Gunners and join Boca Juniors. The Uruguay international told the YouTube channel Perfil Bulos: “I want to go to Boca Juniors now. I am 25 years old and I know it’s a club that plays for great targets. “I’d like to make the fans happy but I know it’s not easy. Boca should reach an agreement with Arsenal for a one-year loan.” (Goal.com)"

Another Premier League player being linked with a possible switch to the Argentinian side is Manchester’s striker Edinson Cavani.

Man United’s board are working hard to try and get him to extend his stay at Old Trafford following a number of brilliant performances.
