Key Takeaways: Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Pogba Losing His Chance to Turn the Corner at Man U.
ESPN recently reported that Bruno Fernandes believes he and Pogba “can do great things” at Man U.
Fernandes, consistently one of United’s best performers, went on to say, “It’s always a pleasure being in a team with him because I can learn a lot from him, and he can learn a lot from me. Together we can do great things.”
Unfortunately for The Red Devils, the struggles continued for their side with both players on the pitch. The last time the two played together, Manchester United received a 6-1 hiding at the hands of former manager Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur.
Fernandes is almost undroppable for Solskjaer at this point, providing that critical link to United’s attackers in the midfield. If Bruno can’t be dropped and the team can’t click into gear when both Pogba and Fernandes play, that seems like a troubling equation for United’s record signing.
Fernandes weighed in further on the drama surrounding the Pogba situation:
"A lot of people may think Paul is angry on the bench and that he will do nothing when he comes on because he is angry, but he comes in with the right motivation…He was there, he was fighting, holding the ball in the corner for us, he did a really good job. Maybe some people think he was angry because he wanted to play and that he wants to leave the club…Being on the bench is a problem for everyone, but this problem is motivation for Paul."
Whether or not Fernandes will be proved right or the situation will continue to deteriorate, remains to be seen. If the disappointing domestic results persist, expect more Pogba drama in the months ahead of the January transfer window.
