What can happen at Tottenham? Can he form the deadliest trio with Harry Kane and Son?

If/when Tottenham ends up signing Gareth Bale on loan, it would be a great signing for them, both on commercial and technical aspects.

He, who once played as a right-winger for the North London club, can improve this team single-handedly. Apart from his blistering pace, it is his goalscoring and assisting abilities that Mourinho will benefit from most.

In his 2012/13 season for Spurs, Bale had 26 goals and 15 assists in the top flight. From a tactical perspective, the manager has deployed the counter-attacking 4-2-3-1 formation with Harry Winks and Hojberg as his two defensive midfielders. The 4-2-3-1 formation’s success depends on the pacy and flashy wingers of the team.

Jose has Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura at his disposal with Harry Kane as a lone striker. Moura hasn’t been at his best since the end of last season. This can open up the opportunity for the Real Madrid star to form a deadly trio along with the rest of the front line.
