Nico Tagliafico – 27- Ajax

Undoubtedly the best player on this list, but equally the least likely to happen.

Argentinian Tagliafico has been one of Europe’s premier left backs for a while now, which (unfortunately for Leicester), has made him a wanted man amongst Europe’s elite.

Last season, the 27-year-old outplayed Chilwell in every major defensive category (albeit in a lesser league), and is clearly entering his prime.

Comfortable in attack, and tenacious in defence – with 2.5 tackles and 1.7 interceptions per game – Tagliafico would not only replace Chilwell but be an upgrade.

Unfortunately, this form has attracted interest from the likes of Barcelona, Man City and PSG, and Tagliafico would cost upwards of 40 million pounds – perhaps too high a fee for the Foxes.
