Financial restraints for all clubs. The problem that will persist until a solution is found before life moves back to the way it was.

If some of the bigger boys in the top flight are complaining about the monetary concerns met following the pandemic, imagine how the so-called smaller clubs must be dealing with it. This leaves all teams with little room to move around in the market.

Alterations have to be made without spending a cent on a transfer, if possible. The least for the most is what all companies look for. Adding fuel to the fire, it doesn’t take a sum of transfer costing your club many millions to survive in the EPL or take the crown.

For such examples of the aforementioned to explained perfectly, we take 2018-19 relegation candidates Fulham and current Premier League champions Liverpool into consideration. The contrast between the duo’s business methods is quite noticeable.

The former was the first club in history to get promoted to the top flight and spend over £100m on signing a plethora of players at one go. The latter on the other hand, trusting in academy players, moving rather for players on a free or having just been relegated and/or trying to get the best bargain buy suitable for the team’s collective improvement.

We all know exactly what one has worked out fruitfully and what hasn’t. This what Brighton is doing is going to be the best way to move positively into next season. Their manager has a solid vision and idea of the style of football he wants, plus what players who are needed to carry out the job to full effect.
