In the 2019/20 season, the player has 0.7 tackles per game along with 4.4 clearances per game. Also, he has 14 clean sheets to his name in the top flight. If Jordan Henderson is a family hatchback car, the forward trio being sports cars, Virgil van Dijk has been smooth and classy as a Rolls Royce.
With an assured presence at back and being an imposing stature, Virgil van Dijk might be once again in the race of PFA Premier League Player of the Year.
