United has stolen all the headlines in Friday’s major stories. All the talks out of Manchester has not all been met with a welcoming committee.

In fact, one that’s had all Devils throwing in their TV screen is that Phil Jones signed a new long-term deal. To say the fans all stand together and disagree with the club’s choice of an extension is a major understatement.

Following the shocking news of Jones’ 18-month extension, United received news that will only lift the morale. Ole the real star of the show, received the English Premier League Manager of the Month award.

This after starting his life as a manager, unmoved by the league and FA Cup. His first Champions League test, where they face PSG is around the corner. It will be the third and final one to see if he has what it takes to become the long-lost Fergie replacement they were in search of all this time.

The run has been so good for United that if they take all the points from Fulham (okay when they take all the points from them), they will go into the top four for the first time since Matchday 1 when they sat there by default.

The first man to win an English Premier League Manager of the Month award since United’s greatest ever manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. Maybe this is a sign he should get the nod as the next boss over many others?
