Thierry Henry at Monaco is good news for the English Premier League

After years of being a Sky Sports pundit and a coach of the Belgium National Team, Thierry Henry started a new role as a coach in the club where he began to play football.

Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Frank Lampard, and Steven Gerrard have joined the adventure of being a manager in the world of football. Henry and Vieira after years in England and the United States, returned to France to start a new experience there.

Henry and Viera: A Premier League Project.

Vieira, who gained experience with the New York Football Club as a coach in the MLS, joined Nice. This was followed by the other, Henry, the most recent of the two to join the French league, taking his first major step as a coach. Both names have been speculated to be in the English Premier League in the near future but experience must be gained.

Vieira was a Manchester City project, who was looking to him as Guardiola’s replacement eventuality. And the fans looked to Henry as an Arsenal manager before the Gooners announced Unai Emery. The experience in France will be crucial to define if he is a prospect who works, or not.

In Monaco, he will learn to improve a squad with less money that he would have in an EPL club. I know that ASM sells expensive (especially to PSG). But they buy players at a lower cost than your normal big money moves in the market.

The Monaco project is to develop a player for the future, being managed and ready for the next two to three years. And of course, eventually, finish in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

However, this side is less talented than any other Monaco side in years. Despite having Aleksandr Golovin and Falco, they do not have another superstar as they did when they lifted a Ligue 1 trophy two years ago.

With challenges and tests to prove his worth, his time in France will show us if he is capable of repeating his success as a player, executing a new role as manager of a top club in Europe. English fans and clubs executives will definitely be watching his games to see if he is a good name to bring in some day.
