Watford 1-2 Man United

Watford’s perfect record is no more after a 2-1 loss at home to Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. The Red Devils scored two quick goals late in the first half that was enough to win the game. Romelu Lukaku stayed hot with another goal in September. Two minutes later, Chris Smalling scored a lovely goal to get his first of the season.

The Hornets were the better side in the second half generating a ton of chances. Andre Gray got them within one with 25 minutes left and a draw was possible. They couldn’t get it with David De Gea making some spectacular saves to get United’s third win this season. Mourinho’s side now has nine points and sit in the top ten. They will also be without Nemanja Matic next week against Wolves after his late red card.
