World Cup: England play Belgium in underwhelming plate final
Belgium – Golden era needs to settle for being the bronze era. Too little in the latter stages caused heartache for them.
A team who set the pace during the group stages was Belgium. Not only did they top their group, but they also managed to lead the tournament as the top scorers with 19 goals.

They topped their group and won convincingly during their knockout run. On the day where they met France (semifinals) – it was just the better team who won on the day. Martinez can only be proud of his team and how they reacted to stiff competition through the course of the event.
Taking into account the way Hazard and co has played throughout – they should be wiping the floor with England.
