A major lift for the Pharaohs after recent announcements that their king is back, King Salah. What does it exactly mean for the Egyptians to have their star player back?

It means the Egyptians take their crown as the second best team of the group, maybe even the best, considering which Uruguay shows up to the tournament. It’s been a shaky buildup for Egypt, but the worst is behind them.

With Salah in, the chances of them getting more than a draw in their opener on Friday is quite strong. This will not only set them on route for a great group finish. It could be the catalyse to strong run on the world stage.

Nine points will be a gift, but seven points a realistic goal. All of the African’s team hope lies on the back of Salah and his form.
