The battle for a Champions League spot in the Serie A was as intense as the Premier League fight for the last few spots available to the top-six clubs.

Failing in one the hardest fought Champions League fights in recent years, Ciro Immobile certainly was one of the most mobile forwards in the Serie A this season. The target man led his team to the Italian Super Cup in a 3-2 victory over Serie A Champs, Juventus.

Always great to take something away from reining champions Juve. He is the first of two strikers from the Italian league popping up on the list. Displaying the Italian league was plagued with goals throughout.
