English Premier League: Matchday 34 Saturday Roundup

Tottenham 1-3 Manchester City
Manchester City walked into Wembley on their worst run of the season. They quickly turned the Citizens fans frowns upside down with two goals in the first half. Gabriel Jesus finished off a long ball from Vincent Kompany to give City the lead. Raheem Sterling was fouled shortly after the goal. Referee Jon Moss called it a penalty kick and Ilkay Gundogan hit it home into the right side netting. The foul was called into question with it being right on the line.
Spurs got one back through Christian Eriksen to conclude a terrific first half at Wembley. City took the two-goal advantage back late in the second half. Raheem Sterling was finally able to finish from directly in front of goal, just moments after he missed a glorious chance also directly in front of goal. The 3-1 victory is the 28th of the season for Manchester City and their first since March 31st.
The title has not been clinched. Manchester City can clinch tomorrow if Manchester United lose to West Brom, an unlikely scenario. If United does win tomorrow, City can clinch the title with a win next Sunday against Swansea City. The full week off will help the Citizens regroup after a tough last four games. For Tottenham, they are three points behind Liverpool in fourth with a game in hand. Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs will head to Brighton for a Tuesday clash against the Seagulls.
