Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool took the lead early. Somewhat surprisingly, Sadio Mane scored the first goal after an Asmir Begovic save. It’s Mane’s tenth of the EPL campaign and was the 76th of the season for Jurgen Klopp’s team in the league.

It took awhile to get the second goal. Mohamed Salah put in the second to score his 40th goal in all competitions. He also becomes the eighth player to score 30 goals in a Premier League season. Roberto Firmino added the icing on the cake for his 25th goal of the season. The win is Liverpool’s sixth straight match without a loss.

The Reds stay in third on 70 points with just four matches to go in the Premier League season. They will be at West Brom next weekend followed by their semifinal leg against Roma in the Champions League. Bournemouth loses for the 14th time this season and is level on points with Newcastle, for the time being. The Cherries will host Manchester United on Wednesday to continue this hard-hitting schedule.
