English Premier League: Liverpool travels to Manchester United to battle for second place
Small things to look at before the Manchester United vs. Liverpool fixture happens lunch time tomorrow. Things that swing the result in the home side’s favour, and other things that swing the result in the visitor’s favour.
This game has seen four draws in last four meetings between the two. They still brag the rights of being the most decorated clubs in the English Premier League, so pipe down if you support Chelsea or Manchester City.
Man United’s on a high knowing they’ve already downed one of the top-six they’ve face prior to this, and Liverpool’s high – because of them reaching the last eight in the Champions League for the first time in almost a decade.

A strange and worrying fact for the Devils – the last time Liverpool qualified for the last eight of the UCL, they played their rivals in the following fixture. That fixture ended in favour of the Anfield side, where they beat United emphatically by four goals to one.
The four draws have given this fixture a 50/50 split of who’s the boss and who’s not. So nobody is going into this match as the man.
If United win, they open their point gap to four points. But if the Reds claim victory – they’d vault above Jose’s men by one point.
Only United can drop no lower than third if they were to lose. Unfortunately for Liverpool, they could drop further down to forth if other contenders, Tottenham win their fixture.
